Growth Spurt - Before and After

So...I am growing like crazy! You know that growth spurt I just went through? Well I am now 2 cm larger than expected. That means, I just went to the doctor's office yesterday, and they measured Mommy's stomach. I was supposed to be 32 cm and I was in fact 34 cm. I need to stop and think about this. As a secret between me and the Internet...I'm a little older than they think I am. I'm planning on the middle of august or so...but don't tell anyone! Anyways, I thought you might like some before and after growth spurt shots! The first is about 1 week ago, the second is last night. Enjoy!

Getting Comfortable in my Skin

So...over the last couple of days, I have been moving like crazy! Part of it is because Mommy keeps using me as a book rest and the other part is because I am just not comfortable in my skin! It is still sagging off of me, gradually filling in, but boy does it itch! I have to keep moving over and over again to keep it from itching. Oh well! Also, last night, Mommy and Daddy had Family Home Evening and discussed different things. Well I overheard them and they are doing a family challenge! They want to read the Book of Mormon in 40 days. They want to do it before I come. So that is 13 pages a day! Hope they make it! If you all want to join in, you are welcome to! As for me? I still can't see the writing on the wall! My vision is like 20/4000 so I will wait until I get out of here.

Limited Space with Hiccups

Well, yesterday was a first. I got the hiccups and Mommy laughed at me! I know it wasn't because I had the hiccups, but rather it was because when I hiccuped, my leg would kick as well. Her stomach would go out about an inch or so. She said that it was so crazy, she just couldn't help but laugh. Well, it's true, it would be funny, but I am DEFINITELY feeling cramped in here! Anyways, we are up early today, we are going to go and watch a friend run a 5k. This will be interesting. Well, until tomorrow!

Happy Week Day! - 8

Happy Week Day all! 8 weeks left! Wow! Well, I weigh 4 pounds today, about like a large jicama, and I am about 16.7 inches long. It is REALLY getting cramped in here. Over the next 7 weeks, Mommy will be gaining at least a pound a week in weight, but half of that will be because of me! I'm bulking up. My coach says to start eating more and bulk up for energy and preparation to head on out! Well, you won't believe it...I have fingernails and toenails now. I even have this weird stuff on the top of my head... It's hair...or I think some people call it peach fuzz! Anyways, time for Mommy to get up and me to sleep.

Fireworks.....

So I hear that tomorrow is the 4th of July. I've also been told that during the evenings of several days this weekend there will be loud noises and flashing lights. I guess they are called fireworks. I need to Google them some more. Anyway, I'm a little nervous about the noise. Are these people crazy?!? Have you not felt the boom? I mean think about it, I'm in a water bubble. Whenever a big sound goes off I shake all over. And the kind that make the loudest boom are Mommy's favorites. I'm not so sure how I feel about all this..... Time to strap myself down and wait for the ride. This is going to be a blast!

Lessons From a Car

So yesterday was not one of my best days. It started out with Mommy being in a car. In the morning, she was sitting in such a way, I was getting squished. So I kicked her. She didn't respond so I kicked again. Finally, she wouldn't move so I gave her the biggest kick I could. That wasn't good. I kicked so hard upward that I hit my head downward. Lesson 1: don't do that.
Well towards the end of the day, we had to take my aunt to the airport. So there I am minding my own business when I start to get really hot! The temperature was climbing and climbing. It was driving me crazy! I looked around and around trying to see what was causing this. All I could see was a bright light and kept hearing in my head: don't head towards the light! Finally it stopped. Lesson 2: keep Mommy's tummy out of the sun when in the car.
I learned so much I need to sleep.

Energy Is My Friend!

I...like...big...muffins and I cannot lie. No other baby can deny. The chocolate and the blueberry and the poppyseed say eat me for some energy! - (reworked lyrics to a popular song...ask daddy to sing it if you don't know the song)

Well, I did it again, I drained Mommy. I can't help it! I consume energy when I get nervous! Here I am coming up on 32 weeks and I have nothing to wear! People keep saying don't worry, no one else is wearing clothes. Well, just because they aren't does that mean I shouldn't either? Well, I will have to curb my consuming for a bit...otherwise I can't get around.
